Secret AI: Offline Solver — Privacy Policy

The short version

Secret AI runs entirely on your device. Your chats, photos, PIN and settings never leave your phone. We do not operate accounts, analytics, crash reporting or tracking SDKs.

What stays on your device

• Chat history & attached photos — stored in the app's private sandbox (/data/data/…), excluded from Android backups, deleted when you delete them (or when you uninstall).
• AI model files — downloaded once from Hugging Face, then used fully offline. Inference never uses the network.
• PIN & disguise settings — the PIN is stored only as a salted SHA-256 hash.

What leaves your device

• Model downloads — HTTPS GET requests to Hugging Face (huggingface.co) and to ai.svaz.app for the model catalog (a static JSON file). These fetch only file bytes; no personal data is sent.
• Ads (free tier) — Google AdMob may process device identifiers per its own policy. Ads never appear in chats or on the cover screen. You can remove all ads by upgrading to Pro or declining consent where offered.
• Play Billing — purchases are handled by Google Play; we only receive a purchase token confirming entitlement. No payment details reach us.

Permissions

• Camera — optional, only when you choose “Take photo” in a chat.
• Photos — via the system Photo Picker; the app gets access only to images you select.
• Notifications — download progress for model files.
• Internet — model downloads, ads, billing. All AI processing is local.

Data retention & deletion

Everything is on-device. “Clear all chats” in Settings erases the local database immediately. Uninstalling removes all data.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
